The day I’ve been waiting for all my life, has finally arrived and it’s all incredibly surreal, exciting, daunting and more than a little nerve wracking.

My debut book ‘A Little Pick Me Up’ is now officially out in the world, which I guess also means that I am now officially an author. Wowser.

Like so many of us I adore books. And have done for forever! I was that young girl who would spend hours in my local library or at WHSmiths deliberating over which books to borrow or buy and gasp, take home. So to say I’m more than a little chuffed or emotional about my debut book making it’s well, debut, is an understatement. It really is a ‘pinch me’ moment.

A Little Pick Me Up is everything that I’m passionate about and I wrote it because I believe that sadly, most women do not realise the power, value or worth they have to offer the world. We are far too hard on ourselves and we deserve better. So much better.

Part memoir, part musings, part inspiration, I share much of my personal journey to talk about the dark emotions that women struggle with such as guilt, jealousy and dread and – more importantly – how I overcame them and how you can too.

It’s a book that I hope will make you feel empowered.
