TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL WARDROBE EDIT

Is your wardrobe desperate for a sort out? Then this post is for you. Creating a capsule wardrobe that you love is easier than you think!

As a personal stylist, I love doing wardrobe edits! They are one of my favourite styling services to do. I love going in, having a rummage and sort, helping people to wear pieces differently and find joy in what they already own.  But even before I trained to be a stylist during lockdown 2020, I used to love sorting my own wardrobe! Perhaps it’s because mine is small so I need to keep on top of it? Who knows. But I do really enjoy it.

For those of you that don’t though…here are some of my top tips to make it more enjoyable and successful. I do at least 4 wardrobe edits a year, but 1-2 is absolutely fine.

The key is to realise that a wardrobe edit isn’t just about tidying and sorting, but about discovering old gems, considering how you can wear things differently and identifying pieces that may be missing.

It’s about playing and appreciating. Being creative and thinking more mindfully.

So read the tips below and give it a go! Making sure your wardrobe works for you and brings you joy will make life so much easier! Plus it’s fabulous for your unique personal style.
