SICK of buying your Mum flowers for Mother’s Day?

Yep, me too.

Which is why I thought I’d do a little gift guide featuring some rather lovely present ideas for marvellous mums (and grandmas) everywhere.

Because although flowers are always lovely to receive, sometimes it’s nice to shake things up a little and put a smile on your Mum’s face with something different.

Here are nine super gift ideas, that all cost under £50. (If you’re a Mum yourself, you may want to leave this open on your partner’s laptop too as a not so subtle hint. *winks*)

From left to right:

Chanel No.5 Eau De Parfum Spray, £48.50 from The Perfume Shop – after receiving a bottle of this famous perfume for myself last year, I’m now convinced that every woman should own this iconic scent. It’s classy, it’s expensive and smells divine.

Haute Couture Fashion Print, £15.10 from Zazzle – An arty print is just the thing for fashion loving mums and this one is particularly stunning.

What I Know For Sure by Oprah Winfrey, £4.99 – Hardcover from Amazon

Probably the wisest book I have ever read and easily one of my all time favourites. Easy to read and packed full of inspiring tales and words, this is one book every mum should have on her book shelf.

Mother’s Day Photoshoot Voucher, £49 from Masque Photography

The wonderful Helen took the most sensational portraits of my Mum (pictured) and my mother in law and is now offering the experience as a Mother’s Day gift. The shoot and images brought so much joy to both mums so I’ve no doubt that any woman would love this special treat. A very thoughtful gift.

Personalised Cosmetics Bag, £22.95 from Zazzle – I adore this chic monochrome cosmetics bag which you can easily personalise with a person’s initials. Just the thing for mums who like to stand out from the crowd.

Breakfast at Tiffany’s DVD, £3.30 from Amazon – If you’re stumped for cash, this classic film for less than a fiver is ideal! Be inspired by the beautiful Audrey and team it with a pair of sparkly earrings from the High Street for the ultimate old school glamour gift.

Tom Ford Lipstick in nude, £26 from Selfridges – Every woman needs a decent nude lipstick in her beauty arsenal and these Tom Ford lipsticks are the ultimate in sophisticated packaging and long lasting colour.

Vintage Kimono Cushion, £32.95 from Zazzle – Brighten up your mum’s environment with a pretty cushion. Femininity and comfort in one gift. What’s not to love?

Belgian Chocolate Gift Bag, £35 from Marks & Spencer – The ultimate in chocolate indulgence for chocoholics everywhere. And if you’re lucky your Mum might even share them with you too. Now there’s a thought.

With love,
