STAG PARTY IDEAS THAT EVERYONE CAN ENJOY

Let’s be honest, the concept of planning a stag party for a groom to be can be pretty daunting. The media has created a common idea that stag parties need to be raunchy celebrations filled with booze, strippers, and dangerous nightclubs.

However, the truth is that most stag parties just aren’t that crazy anymore. The majority of us fellas would rather have a relaxing evening with our pals than spend the night living it up and losing money in Las Vegas. If you’re the best man at an upcoming wedding and you’re not sure how to deliver the most exciting celebration for your groom that everyone will enjoy, let these ideas inspire you.

Bring Vegas to Him

Let’s face it, actually getting everyone on a plane to Vegas, or somewhere with a similar gambling experience just isn’t feasible for many of us. Not only would an overseas trip require a lot of money from everyone in your party, but you’d also need to make sure that everyone had enough time off work too.

So why not simplify things a bit? Buy some of your favourite booze and a cocktail mixer, grab a set of cards and chips, and bring the Vegas experience to your guy instead. You might not have the scantily clad girls, but you can have everything else.

Indulge in Something Other than Beer

If your guy isn’t much of a drinker and doesn’t like the idea of getting wasted on a big night out, then find another way for him to indulge. Maybe he’s a big lover of steak, which means that you can book a table at the best steak house that you can find. Perhaps he’s a whiskey lover, and you could go on a tasting binge and buy him some whiskey related gifts?

Think about how the groom likes to spend his free time when he’s not with the missus. Maybe you could take him out on a trip to a local sports game where you can all watch the action up-close and personal for a while?

Charter a Boat

You’d be surprised how easy it is to get hold of a boat here in the UK. You don’t need to own one to get out on the water. There are plenty of companies that will allow you to hire a ship master for a few hours and get out on the open water. You could try fishing – if that appeals to you, or you could just drink some beers and enjoy a different kind of life away from the land.

When you’re done sailing, you can always get your boat to drop you off at the beach where you can relax with a grill for a couple of hours – weather permitting.

Take a Road Trip

Where did you and the groom used to go all of the time when you were bored on a weekend. Was there a hiking spot that you used to check out, or maybe somewhere where you used to just drive your cars for hours at a time?

A stag party doesn’t have to be wild to be fun. Taking your groom back to a place from his youth could be an excellent way to remind him of all the moments that he and the lads spent together when he was growing up.

Getting outside on a hiking or rock climbing trip is another excellent way to really take in some fresh air and make your guy feel like a strong, capable man too. If taking a trip down memory lane isn’t an option, then why not look for something new that your guy has never experienced before? Visit a new destination together or try a new hobby, like axe throwing.

Book a VIP Room

Finally, there are a lot of great bars in big cities these days that have their own VIP room. If your groom doesn’t like to make much of a fool of himself in public, why not book one of those spaces instead? You can ask beautiful women to take your orders and wait on your hand and foot, while you drink the night away and sing on karaoke.

You can even find bars that come with their own pool tables and televisions where you can load up matches that you know your groom would be dying to see. These nights on the town are often a lot more appealing than the bar crawls of traditional stag parties, and they can be more affordable than you think too.
