It’s ‘Very’ nearly party time. Or at least it is for me!

Next month I turn forty and for those of you who haven’t heard me mention that a gazillion times already, let me make it crystal clear. I am excited. Super excited in fact! I’m throwing a big ol’ birthday bash and I cannot wait to get my glad rags on, but I’m also feeling the heat. The ‘find the right party dress to celebrate being 40′ kind of heat. Some of you will know exactly what I mean.

I really want the frock to be special. (Obviously.) But I also want it to be fun, glamorous and preferably full of sparkle! I’ve been looking for the dress for weeks now (I kid you not) and I’ve looked everywhere for it, so when the lovely team at Very got in touch to ask if I’d like to collaborate with them on a post about party frocks, well the timing could not have been more perfect.
