HOW TO SHORTEN YOUR MORNING ROUTINE

Whatever our daily routine, mornings can be stressful. Very often, we have lots to do within a short amount of time.

So how can we fit breakfast, a shower, and getting ready into less than hour? Easily, as it turns out.

Shorten your morning routine, and you could achieve this.

Here, we explore how.

Prepare Breakfast in Advance

A good night’s sleep typically boosts our health. Breakfast is equally as important. A healthy meal at the start of each day can also benefit how our brain performs.

For a lot of people, the only issue is that it takes time to make it – time that could be spent getting ready. Well, worry no more.

To shorten your breakfast routine, why not prepare it in advance? You can assemble your cereal or yoghurt bowl the night before. In doing so, you may free up time for other tasks.

You needn’t skip your morning meal to simplify your routine. Prepare breakfast beforehand, and you’ll be able stay healthy and save time.

Multiply Your Mirrors

In a lot of homes, the bathroom is the only place with a usable mirror. For families and big households, this can make mornings highly stressful.

If your day begins with long waits to see your own reflection clearly, you’re not alone. And though most of us want to look presentable, this may use up precious preparation time.

The solution might sound obvious: increase the number of useful mirrors in your house or apartment. If you do, you can get ready for the day anywhere.

To maximise your time saving skills, you could put your make-up on while you eat breakfast.

Look to furniture experts like Cox & Cox, for example, and you’ll find pieces that compliment your existing décor and room style. Even better, you can choose from a range of shapes and sizes.

And so, you have an opportunity to both decorate your living space and shorten your morning routine.

Restyle Your Hair Routine

Ah, the morning hair routine. We can sometimes complete it in minutes. But let’s admit, it usually takes longer to do. If this applies to you, why not redesign it?

Do you curl your locks each morning? Then how about plaiting them the night before? In doing so, you could reduce how long it takes for you to achieve your intended look.

Alternatively, with the right shampoo and conditioner, you can keep your hair relatively straight overnight. Products made with natural oils like camellia can be useful for this.

As with breakfast, prepare your hair the night before, and you may reduce your morning routine time considerably.

The morning routine needn’t be a stressful activity. Once you know how, you can keep it short – and this may make it more enjoyable.

Whether you’re a morning person or not, you could create a schedule that gives you more of an opportunity to relax at the beginning of each day.
