IT’S been a while but I haven’t forgotten about you all I promise.

Life is wonderful, hectic and at times pretty chaotic at the moment but we’re all settling into our family life happily and loving having little Leo around. Little Leo who is now not so little (although will always be my ‘dink’) and is six weeks old already. Six weeks old!

I tell you time is flying by which is another reason why I haven’t blogged for ages. Free time is hard to find but also, I don’t want to miss out on any special moments with my boy so he’s my total priority at the moment and I’m on full on mummy mode.

My life is all about feeds, nappy changes, school runs, trying to find one to one time for Elsie (who’s missing having her mummy to herself currently) and gazing at my beautiful boy.

Not glamorous (you should see the state of my nails!) not exciting and certainly not easy but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m just so, so happy.

Even today when I’ve had about three hours of broken sleep. I’m breastfeeding Leo and last night he decided he would feed pretty much all night long – I think he’s going through a growth spurt- so I’m a little tired today. In fact, scrap that, I’m exhausted but hey we battle on.

Still, if this post makes no sense at all, you know why!

Anyhow I’m popping by to say just bear me with a little for the next few months. I will still be blogging (albeit a bit haphazardly!), I am still around on social media (more so on Instagram these days) and I’m continuing to write for the BabyCentre if you’re interested in my new baby tales.

There will be plenty of parenting / baby posts coming up so if that’s your thang, keep your beady eyes out for them and if thats not quite your bag, then fret not, I will be writing about my usual kind of stuff shortly too.
