THREE THINGS TO DO AROUND YOUR HOME THIS AUTUMN
As the colder and wetter weather draws in, we tend to find ourselves spending more and more time cosied up in our homes. Which makes it the perfect time to make a few changes around our homes or get through that to-do list. That is why today we want to share with you 3 things to do around your home this autumn, hopefully we can inspire you to try one or two of our suggestions.
Plough through your to-do list
There are always those jobs that you need to do around your home that you never seem to actually get around to organising. There never seems to be enough time for you to arrange them, and therefore they languish at the bottom of your priorities. Make now the time to get them sorted and you will feel productive and be pleased to have everything back in full working order again.
Maybe you have spotted a leak and could do with getting a roofer around? Or perhaps you need to call a local blocked drains specialist or book in a tree surgeon (check out the guys from: https://www.
Change things up with a renovation project
Making changes around our home can help us to better use the space available and to enjoy being at home more. With a while to wait until we are spending our days in the garden again, autumn seems like a good time to carry out a few renovation projects so that we can appreciate our indoor space once more.
If you are searching for home renovation ideas, we would suggest that you start with the room or area that you spend most time in or the room that is in most need of an update. You can make the project as big or small as you want to make it, according to your budget and the time that you have available for it.
You might choose to completely renovate your kitchen, or perhaps you will give it a few coats of paint and freshen it up with new accessories. You might put brand new flooring, sofas and soft furnishings in your living room, or you might choose to just decorate the fireplace.
Have a good clearout
Autumn is a great time to have a good clearout.
If you have not done this for some time, then make a plan to tackle each room systematically and declutter everywhere. Do not take on more than you can reasonably manage to do in any one day, this might be a project that takes you a few weeks to complete.
As you find things that you do not need, you could sell them to boost your Christmas savings fund or take them to charity shops or shelters
If you have children, then you will thank yourself for clearing out their toys when Christmas comes around and you have more toys than you do any space to house them all!
When you are satisfied that you have finished your house will feel tidier and it should be easier to clean.
