OUR WEEKEND IN LONDON (AND ELSIE’S FIRST TIME IN THE CAPITAL!)
TWO days after Elsie started school, we made a flying visit to London. To show her some of the sights and catch up with family and friends.

SHE’d been at school just one day. Just one day, when I heard Elsie say something unpleasant. Something that she would never say in a million years and something that I’d never ever heard her utter before.
AS blogging goes, there have been many highlights for me over the years and my recent trip with Optiwell is most definitely up there. Just a few weeks ago, Elsie and I joined a lovely group of parenting bloggers and kids to stay at a luxury family hotel as guests of Optiwell who organised the special event to give us mamas some much appreciated relaxation as part of their new campaign #ThankGoodness.
WAGAMAMAS is one of my favourite places to go and eat. Since discovering it around ten years ago in London, my love affair with this Japanese -inspired restaurant chain has never diminished.
Well my darling. It’s finally here! The day I’ve been dreading for about a year and the one you’ve been excited about for a good few months. Your first day at school.
I HAD great plans to do a lovely little gender video like so many of my favourite bloggers have done in the past. But to be honest, I’m far too excited to share our wonderful, happy news so I’m going to let you know in the post instead as I’m just dying to blab and can’t keep it in for much longer!
