With Spring just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to completely refresh your look and your life in kind. But whilst it might seem like the obvious move to completely change up your wardrobe, there are other aspects of your life that could also use a spring clean if you really want to make the most of the season.

I know we said the spring wardrobe wasn’t everything but it’s still important! Spring is the perfect time to invest in a more dynamic and flexible wardrobe. With the dark and dismal weather of winter behind you, it’s time to start thinking about bringing out the bold bright colours, the shorter skirts and the denim jackets. Spring is that perfect time of year when the weather is just right and dressing in subtle layers will allow you the flexibility to dress up or dress down depending on the weather or the occasion.

The accessories

As well as being a perfect time for switching up your wardrobe, Spring is also a season for trying new things and experimenting. And what better way to experiment than by accessorising? Whether you are glamming up with huge hoop earrings or investing in nail art kits and more elaborate beauty treatments to mix up your look, the possibilities are pretty open-ended. Or you could always treat yourself to a mani/pedi.

The household

It’s not only you that might need a spring clean but your house too! Now that the sun has finally started to shine again, give it something to shine on by getting rid of the clutter and waste that tends to build up in the winter months and help your home breathe again. Choose a room that needs some TLC and go to town on it, or give a subtle upgrade to your entire home, going from room to room and figuring out what needs to change. Spring is all about colour and life, so why not invest in a few scented candles and colourful cushions to bring a spot of glamour to your living space? The preparation

Finally, this is the perfect time of year for maintenance. Make sure your shoes are all clean and free of holes, your wardrobe is ironed and ready to go and your home is looking as good as you feel. Because spring is a season to be lived and enjoyed so when it comes to prep work, the more you can get in before the sun kicks in; the better.
