THREE REASONS TO VISIT CANADA

*This post was created in collaboration with Canadian Affair*

There’s no doubt that Covid-19 has ruined most people’s holiday plans this year, so as we look forward towards the future, it’s time to start thinking about our holiday plans for next year. And, perhaps considering different places we can travel to.

One place that is on my bucket list (and has been for a while!) is Canada. I once had family who lived there, so I grew up always hearing about what a beautiful country it is and honestly the older I get, the more appealing it becomes!

I’ve been doing a little research on this magnificent country to see if and when we might be able to visit, so if you’re open to new holiday ideas, here are three big reasons to visit Canada.

IT’S BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL

One of the things I’ve always heard from people who have visited this popular North American country is just how beautiful it is. Canada’s landscape is supposedly like nowhere else with its rugged mountains, green forests, huge lakes and vast open spaces. So if you love the great outdoors and getting out into nature, then you’re going to love this incredible country.

THERE’S SO MUCH TO EXPLORE

Canada is huge! The country spans over 9 million square km and even comprises of six different time zones, so as you might expect there’s plenty to see and explore. Perfect for the adventurers amongst you.

Wondering where to begin? Then fret not. Thankfully there are some brilliant holiday countries which can take the pain out of exploring and make it an utter joy. Try escorted tours in Canada to get a real sense of the magnitude and beauty of the country.

Not only will you get to experience some of the greatest highlights of the country, you’ll also learn a hell of a lot too as these tours are brilliant at providing you with knowledge about the country and introducing you to its history.

IT OFFERS A TRIP OF A LIFETIME

Canada offers something for everyone. From thriving cosmopolitan cities to the most incredible, breathtaking natural landscapes. In truth, visiting Canada really does offer you the opportunity to have a trip of a lifetime. If you visit, you’ll want to try and ensure that you go for at least 2-3 weeks so you can cram in as much of this magnificent country as possible but hey, if you can, why not go for longer?

Visit the famous Niagra Falls, try their incredible maple syrup, go whale watching, get up close and personal with a grizzly bear or simply enjoy the chic French influence on cities like Montreal or Quebec.

I’m so excited to visit one day, I’ve already made a list of places I want to visit and things I want to do.
