Hats off to Olivier Baby
YESTERDAY was one of those beautiful, crisp but sunny Autumnal days.
The perfect day to head to the park (with ‘rabbit’ obviously) kick about the fallen leaves and wear a fancy hat. Elsie that is, not me. I have much to learn from my daughter when it comes to head attire!
This was no ordinary hat though. No, no, no.
This was an extraordinary luxurious cashmere hat from the stunning collection at Olivier Baby. And, it has a pompom.
I’ve been desperate for Elsie to wear this adorable heart hat for soooo long, but it just hasn’t been cold enough of late until yesterday that is. And as hats go, I have to say it’s been quite the hit.
Not only did she happily let me pop it on her beautiful head, she also kept it on for the whole morning which as we parents know is no easy feat.
As she swinged, as she bounced up and down on the see-saw and as she walked to and from the park, kicking the vibrant autumnal leaves that lay in her path, the hat stayed firmly put. Hoorah!
And to be honest I’m not surprised. Not only is this hat oh so cosy and gloriously soft (it is cashmere after all!) it is also incredibly pretty. In fact if it fitted my head I’d probably wear it myself. And no, I haven’t had a go but yes I did think about it. ;-)
I mean, just look at how happy she is! It’s like she knows she’s wearing cashmere for heaven’s sake. And check out her pout! No doubt about it folks, she’s definitely my daughter.
If you haven’t heard of Olivier Baby then I urge you to get acquainted my friends and get acquainted quick. The ranges are simply stunning, with the brand offering luxurious clothing for newborn babies right through to older children up to 10 years.
As you’d expect from buying cashmere, the prices are not cheap (I won’t be sending Elsie and her cashmere hat off to nursery for example) but the quality is wonderful and the designs are beautiful and contemporary yet timeless. If you’re looking for seriously gorgeous Autumn / Winter pieces to invest in for your kiddywinks, then this company certainly ticks the box.
Elsie was also sent these beautiful mittens to accompany her hat but as of yet I haven’t been successful in getting her to wear them. *sighs* You win some, you lose them ey?
However, I am hoping if we’re lucky to have a smattering of the white stuff this year, it may just change her mind. Fingers crossed.

Many thanks to Olivier Baby for Elsie’s beautiful hat and mittens. Elsie is also wearing a coatigan from George and jeans from Next.
With love,

Love the pompom detail. And that cashmere must have kept her adorable little head very cosy and warm.
Isn’t it gorgeous Nomita?! So soft and cosy. x
OH my GOODness, Elsie’s eyes in that first shot – what a little stunner. I absolutely love the hat – are you sure you can’t squeeze into it?! I need to get Reuben some new stuff, he’s currently wearing a 12-18 month hat and it barely touches his ear!! I shall check to see if they do boys as well!
