JOINING THE ‘GIRL TRIBE GANG’

As a self employed woman, doing what I do and juggling motherhood along the way, it can be pretty tricky to meet people who ‘get’ my life. Plus my days can often get a little lonely. Having the freedom to work from home is a blessing, I’d be lying if I said otherwise, but it also comes with many challenges too. (For example, trying to get any work done during

A SECOND PSYCHIC READING WITH EMMA KINSEY

“Who’s Mary?” “Your Grandad keeps saying ‘Mary, Mary, Mary….’ over and over.” “That is his wife. My Gran.” I said. And smiled. Last year I had a reading with Emma Kinsey, regarded by many as one of the UK’ s leading psychic mediums and it pretty much blew my mind. Back in February 2016, Emma gave me all kinds of messages, shared information about passed loves ones and predicted that

MOTHERHOOD HAS CHANGED ME (AGAIN)

I no longer like or can drink white wine. If you stood in front of me with an expensive glass of white plonk now and wafted it right under my nose, I would refuse it and quite possibly even turn my nose up in disgust. This, my friends, has been a revelation. I’ve drank, loved and enjoyed white wine – always my preferred tipple of choice – for over two

MY EASTER PLANS

I can still vividly remember counting all the Easter eggs I received as a child on Easter Sunday. Counting them, smacking my eager lips in mouth watering anticipation and admiring all their shiny, chocolate-y prettiness. It was like utter heaven to me and I would always, always leave the best to enjoy last. Anyone else do that or just me?! I love Easter. Probably because of all those delicious eggs

IT’S TIME TO HIBERNATE (BUT I’LL SEE YOU SOON!)

I WAS sat here this morning thinking I ‘should’ probably write a couple of blog posts. Perhaps do a review before sharing some thoughts with you all this morning. So after dropping Elsie off at school, I made myself a cup of tea, ate two slices of buttered fruit toast and tried to gear myself up for it. And do you know what, I just couldn’t do it. In fact,

LIFE LESSONS FROM 2016

THE end of the year is upon us. And what a year it’s been. Globally, I think we can probably all agree that 2016 has been a bit of a bleak-fest. Trump, Brexit and Aleppo as well as scores of celebrity deaths have left many of us reeling. But tomorrow summons a new dawn. A new year to get our excited mitts on and I for one cannot wait. 2016

HAIR TODAY, GONE TOMORROW?

ONE of the biggest shocks I ever had after giving birth to my daughter Elsie was the day I realised my hair was falling out. I can’t remember exactly how long it was after Elsie’s arrival when this first happened but I seem to recall it being a good few months into new motherhood and that it lasted for quite a while too. There are many things people don’t tell

SPONSORED POST: LIFE INSPIRATION FROM OKINAWA

AS we come to the end of the year, it’s inevitably that time for a little self reflection. I don’t know about you, but for me, once Christmas celebrations are out of the way, I like to use the final days of the year to sit back, reflect and think about the year that’s just gone by and what is possibly to come. For many people January is a bleak
