NOW that I’m a parent, I have found that I’m much more passionate about trying to make the world a better place.

A little corny perhaps but I’m deadly serious.

Becoming a mum, having a child, exposes you to the greatest love that I believe any human being can experience. However it also exposes you further to the failings and cruelty that go on in the world.

You look at your bundle of joy and just cannot fathom how there are children in the world who are neglected, mistreated or starved. And every story about such a thing hits a nerve somewhere deep in your core, making you emotional with disbelief and anger.

And so one of my favourite things as a parenting and lifestyle blogger is learning about a company that gives back to others. A company that is doing it’s bit to help conquer the horror that unfortunately is often too familiar.

One such organisation is Darlo.

Darlo is a new babywear brand with an ethical conscience, motivated by a social mission. To give back to the Indian community by feeding malnourished children. (UNICEF say that one in three of the world’s malnourished children live in India.)

With every single purchase of baby clothing, Darlo will provide a whole week’s worth of meals for a child in India. I mean how absolutely brilliant is that?!

When Chloe, the founder, got in touch with me to tell me about the range, I was thrilled and more than happy to do my bit and help promote them on here. I love what they are all about and how passionate Chloe is about making a difference. It’s incredibly inspiring.

The clothes which are produced from organic Indian cotton are beautiful, contemporary and colourful. (I’ve seen them for myself and they are quite something.
