THE Royal York Hotel took my breath away. And that’s not something I say lightly. (At. All.) I was invited to stay by the hotel, a couple of weeks ago to check out their huge refurbishment which has recently seen the hotel restored to it’s fine glory. On a cold yet beautiful winter’s Day, I travelled to the historic city of York with my lovely Mum and we experienced the most delicious champagne afternoon tea, as Bettys‘ guests.
