LIKE so many of you, Elsie and I have been doing all manner of Halloween things this week for half term. UNBELIEVABLY I am now 27 weeks pregnant, which as my phone baby app told me the other day, now also means I am ‘officially in my third trimester’. Wow. I’ve said it a few times but it’s true, this pregnancy is going by so quickly and I’m becoming well aware that before I know it (all being well) my baby boy will be here.
I’M currently 25 weeks pregnant and I’ve lost track already of the amount of times I’ve been told by people “everything will be fine.” In early pregnancy, when we chose to share our news with immediate family, I was told by one person “everything will be fine!”
PREGNANCY is an exciting and wonderous time. But let’s face it, it’s also often exhausting, uncomfortable, painful and damn hard work! Which is why I believe a spot of pampering is an absolute must. FOR a long time I’ve been admiring this brand that I’m about to mention today. Out and about in my local town, I can always spot their stunning, vibrant pushchairs and have swooned over more blog posts featuring their gorgeous products than I can probably count. AS blogging goes, there have been many highlights for me over the years and my recent trip with Optiwell is most definitely up there. Just a few weeks ago, Elsie and I joined a lovely group of parenting bloggers and kids to stay at a luxury family hotel as guests of Optiwell who organised the special event to give us mamas some much appreciated relaxation as part of their new campaign #ThankGoodness.
