HANDS up who could do with more sleep? Or at the least, better quality sleep? Yep my hands would have been up like a flash too a couple of months ago.

OUR bathroom currently has an eighties vibe. It’s old fashioned, it’s pink (yes, really) and thankfully it’s at least functional. But besides the huge bath we have which is wonderful (the previous owner was a very tall man!) there’s not much else I can say to sing its praises, try as I might. Truth be told, it’s desperate to be redone. All of it. From scratch.

I’VE never been one to make life easy. Which is why when I was heavily pregnant with Elsie, I – together with my husband – decided it would be a really good idea to buy a house that needed tons of work doing on it. A project home. Something we could both get our teeth into.

Which when it comes to our homes, means one thing only, it’s time for a good ol’ ‘spring clean’ and a sort out. I don’t know about you but I always think there’s something rather lovely and motivating about having a good tidy up. Getting organised. Throwing junk out.
