I’m so committed to bringing this amazing online shop to your attention, that I am actually typing this with one hand as I hold my sleeping baby daughter in the other.

Like some of life’s best discoveries, I literally stumbled across Petra Boase by chance as I was busy searching the net last week looking for some nursery inspiration.

Now we’re finally in our new home, I’ve been a busy bee researching and shopping for my little lady’s nursery and so was thrilled when I came across some fabulous ‘Japanese Paper Balloons’ (see bottom left pic below) sold by Petra via ‘Not On The High Street‘. They will be perfect to hang as a mobile in Elsie’s room when the decorating is finished.

The balloons arrived super quick and beautifully packaged. They also pointed me in the direction of Petra’s own online shop petraboase.com, which quite frankly is one of the loveliest sites I’ve had the pleasure of browsing in months.

Petra Boase is a feast of pretty, whimsical and vintage-inspired treasures. From handmade greetings cards to babywear, paper garlands to hair slides, I pretty much fell in love with most, if not all of the items for sale, which is why I just had to give Petra Boase a little mention and award it my ‘Pout Of Approval’.

Many of the items will make perfect gifts for little people however trust me, even as a grown up you’ll be hard pressed not to find something you adore too. I tell you, this shop really is good for your soul.
