SINCE entering the world of freelancing over three and a half years ago, I have lost track of the number of emails I have received from people asking me for my advice about making the big leap.

I’ve written about my freelancing journey pretty extensively in the past (you can catch all of my freelancing posts and tips on my professional site here) and am always happy to talk about why I love freelancing so much.

So when a good friend of mine, Sam Radford, asked me to do an interview with him as part of his ‘Inspiring Women’ series, I was more than happy to oblige! In all honesty I’m not sure I deserve the ‘inspiring woman’ accolade but still,  it is very lovely to be included.

So for all of you who have asked me about freelancing in the past or for anyone who wants to find out more about my experience of it, here is my interview. Part 1 covers my leap into freelancing and my passion for writing whilst Part 2 covers more personal areas such as marriage, motherhood and this blog!

I thoroughly loved sharing my story with Sam and talking about my life, as it is now, in 2014. Answering Sam’s questions really got me thinking about how far I’ve come in the last few years and how incredibly fortunate I am to spend my time doing what I love.
