SPONSORED POST: Time travelling with Ikea (Yep, really)

OK, this post today is a little bonkers granted but I really do think you’re going to enjoy it.

And if nothing else, well it may just get you thinking about stuff like life and the universe, which can only be a good thing right?!

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to see a glimpse into your future? Or to be hypnotised?

Well, shortly, in a little film from Ikea, you’re going to meet a couple who did just this. Although their future was purely a work of fiction, created for them by world renowned hypnotist Justin Tranz.

I don’t know about you guys, but I find anything a bit weird, anything a little kooky, really fascinating and as I’m always open to finding out more about the world, our minds and our souls etc (we’re getting deep now aren’t we?!) I thought I’d share it with you all.

Plus, I’m not afraid to admit, I totally love Ikea. Shopping experience aside (I’m not the only one to have arguments in their stores am I?!) it’s just brilliant isn’t it? Fabulous furniture, lovely prints, cheap as chip orchids! Yep, as you can gather, I’m a big fan.

I’ve always been pretty skeptical about hypnotism however, I have to say I think the couple in this film are pretty convincing! Plus it’s filmed inside an Ikea store, which totally adds to the ‘bonkers factor’ and naturally gives you a chance to check out some of their current goodies too.

The film is a little longer than normal (about 3mins) so get comfy, grab a cuppa if you’re parched, and sit down and revel in the craziness. And when you’ve finished, let me know what you think!

Ladies and gents, meet *Jeff & *Beth…

Are you convinced? Have you ever been hypnotised? Do you think Ikea have gone a little crazy with this video or it is refreshing to see a company try something totally different when it comes to marketing? Let me know! x
