So when I saw a competition by Meadowhall Shopping Centre to find Yorkshire’s best pout/most luscious lips, naturally, I had to enter!

After all, if you say you’re known for your pout, you’ve kinda gotta prove it!

I whizzed over a daft picture of me (in all my pouting glory) to the team and on Wednesday, was invited to attend the launch of Clare Madden’s new Four7Two charity lipstick range as a finalist.

I was also… *speaks quietly*… selected as the winner!

Oh, how we laughed!

Clare’s fabulous charity lipstick range features four on-trend shades – Beat It! (red), Precious (citrus), Magical Glory (pink) and Gentle Soul (nude).

Available exclusively at Meadowhall, beauty consultant Clare hopes to raise around £10,000 for MacMillan Cancer Support by selling the lipsticks at a mere lip-smackingly good £4.99 each.

All the lipstick names were chosen by Clare to relate to the cancer care cause and as a personal tribute to her grandfather, who she sadly lost to cancer. (The range itself is named after Clare’s world record achievement of making 472 lipstick applications within just one hour!)

Clare dedicated her spare time over six months into launching her first lipstick collection for charity and Meadowhall Shopping Centre has kindly supported Clare by providing funding for the fantastic project.
