CELEBS ‘STEP IT UP’ FOR CHARITY WITH FITBIT

WE all have to do our bit for charity right?

Well two celebs – Tess Daly and Al Murray – have been doing just that this week in a special 5-day ‘Step-a-thon with Fitbit, in a bit to raise £100,000 for Sport Relief.

It’s all part of a fundraising drive by Fitbit with their Steps For Good campaign, to raise an overall donation of £500,000 for charity.

Every £1 raises equates to buying five hot, nutritious meals for homeless children in Bangladesh or a year’s supply of exercise books for children in Ghana.

Tess Daly and Al Murray have been busy all week taking part in a series of fun step challenges to see who manages the most steps over the five days.

You can keep an eye on all their progress and find out more about the Steps For Good campaign here.

And here’s a short video to show you what it’s all about.

I tell you something, it’s definitely got me ready to dig my Fitbit out and get involved too. (Dodgy back or not!) *winks*

With love,

Kate
