MY EASTER PLANS

I can still vividly remember counting all the Easter eggs I received as a child on Easter Sunday. Counting them, smacking my eager lips in mouth watering anticipation and admiring all their shiny, chocolate-y prettiness. It was like utter heaven to me and I would always, always leave the best to enjoy last. Anyone else do that or just me?! I love Easter. Probably because of all those delicious eggs

IT’S TIME TO HIBERNATE (BUT I’LL SEE YOU SOON!)

I WAS sat here this morning thinking I ‘should’ probably write a couple of blog posts. Perhaps do a review before sharing some thoughts with you all this morning. So after dropping Elsie off at school, I made myself a cup of tea, ate two slices of buttered fruit toast and tried to gear myself up for it. And do you know what, I just couldn’t do it. In fact,

COLLECTING MONEY & MAKING LIFE EASIER WITH LEETCHI

DO you remember when collecting money was easy? When you were a child and you’d squirrel away some pennies and pounds (if you were lucky) in your little piggy bank that would make that amazing rattle when you shook it? WHAT LEGACY WILL YOU LEAVE BEHIND?

What would they make of me? Those that have loved me and gone. Devoted loved ones such as my grandparents who played such a pivotal role in my formative childhood years or the close family friends who watched me grow up but are no longer around to see how I’ve turned out. Just what on earth would they think now, if they could see me and speak? Would they be

THE LIES WE’RE FORCED TO TELL OUR KIDS (AS THE WORLD WE KNOW CRUMBLES)

This morning. 6.16am. In bed. “Mummy, why are you and Daddy so worried? Why does Daddy keep reading the news?” “Because a bad man has been given a very important job darling, but don’t you worry, everything will be fine!” Oh the lies we tell our beautiful, innocent and loving children.

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE YOU’RE DROWNING (IN LIFE STUFF)

I’M sometimes amazed that we are not called jugglers instead of humans. As juggling is what us humans do, have to do, and lots of it.

WHERE DOES OUR BITCHINESS COME FROM?!

SHE’d been at school just one day. Just one day, when I heard Elsie say something unpleasant. Something that she would never say in a million years and something that I’d never ever heard her utter before.
