MY BABY HAS TURNED ONE!

One party, 41 balloons, two cakes and many presents opened. Last Sunday, my baby boy, turned one. It was a magical weekend. Emotional, yes, but one filled with love. We celebrated with our family on Saturday by throwing a little tea party. There were balloons and plenty of bubbles, pompom party hats and umpteen cups of tea drank. And I cried. Twice. In front of everyone. When we presented Leo

A BOOK UPDATE / IT’S ALL CHANGE!

Last week I did something quite radical and I ditched a book that I’ve been working on for the past few years. Not so long ago, I signed my first book publishing deal to write an inspirational book about blogging and how it can change your life. At the time I was over the moon! I literally jumped for joy when the contract landed through my letterbox and couldn’t wait

A GIFT IDEA THAT ALLOWS FOR EASY SHOPPING

My shopping mission – for those of you that may have missed it – was to buy a party outfit and

WHY IS IT SO HARD TO SEE OUR OWN BEAUTY?

There was an older girl in my primary school whom I adored when I was little. I thought she was the coolest, funniest and most beautiful girl I had ever met and I wanted to be just like her. She wore the best clothes, was bright as a button and had a nonchalance about her which was remarkable. Whatever that infamous ‘it’ is, boy did she have it. I would

STYLE / FINDING A PARTY OUTFIT

So, over the Christmas and New Year period, I was set a shopping challenge. To find a perfect party outfit on the high street using just the One4all gift card. Easy right? Well in many respects it was, yes. But let me tell you, trying to find a suitable party outfit that wasn’t black, navy or burgundy was like trying to find a needle in a haystack! Some of you

REVIEW / BATH TIME WITH CUDDLEDRY

Ah bath time. If there’s anything lovelier than a clean, sweet smelling baby wrapped in a towel, then quite frankly I’d be astonished. We love bath time in our house. Sure it’s a little chaotic at times, particularly now we have two little ones to get clean and dry, but it’s so much fun. Plus the kids love their baths! Someone once told me that if you’re having a bad

18 FOR 2018

ONE thing I don’t do anymore is come up with New Year resolutions. (This Instagram post explains why.) But I am a dreamer and a bit of a planner, so when my lovely blogging friend Lucy over at Mrs H’s Favourite Things, tagged me in an ’18 For 2018′ post, I knew I’d be foolish not to take part. 18 For 2018 is an idea that’s come from Gretchen Rubin,
