SO Elsie was an exceptionally lucky girl on her birthday a few weeks ago, because not only did she receive a huge amount of presents and get to eat lots of cake…

But she also received the most stunning headband any girl could wish for from the very kind people at Liliputians.

Liliputians is a new children’s accessory brand specialising in small accessories which create mighty impressions!

I loved the headband at first sight – it’s exquisitely made, of the highest quality and is both fun and pretty. Two things I always bear in mind when I’m shopping for Elsie.

But the true test was whether or not Elsie would like it. Now she’s turned two, let’s just say she knows who she is and what she likes!

I did fear that the headband – although utterly gorgeous – may become another novelty. Loved one minute, discarded the next.

However I couldn’t have been more wrong. Elsie has loved her beautiful Liliputian headband from the get go, wears it nearly every day and would if she could, probably sleep in it too given half the chance.

And yes, she totally rocked it on her special day too, as you can see from the picture above taken on her birthday. (How she didn’t get any ice cream on it, I don’t know!)

The headband really suits her, looking both chic and cool, whilst helping to keep her hair looking reasonably neat too. No mean feat when you’re a toddler.

Elsie is totally smitten with her lovely accessory and I don’t blame her. It’s beautiful. So beautiful in fact that I have been known to wrestle it out of her grubby hands from time to time, so it’s not ruined.

Oh and between you and I, I may, just may, have popped it on my head occasionally too.  After all, it’s a Mum’s privilege right? ;-)
