REVIEW / SHREK THE MUSICAL AT SHEFFIELD LYCEUM

A few weeks ago on a cold and wet Thursday afternoon, I watched my daughter’s face fill with utter joy as she watched a green ogre dance and sing on a stage in Sheffield. It was pure parenting magic. If I’m being completely honest, I can’t say I’m the world’s greatest fan when it comes to musicals. I’ve seen a few throughout my life and always enjoyed them, but if

REVIEW / CARRIWELL SEAMLESS GELWIRE NURSING BRA

Fourteen and a half months. That’s exactly how long I’ve been breastfeeding Leo for, which means, as far as nursing bras go I’ve gone through my fair share over the past year and a bit. If I’m honest I still can’t quite still believe that I’ve managed to breastfeed Leo for so long (I stopped breastfeeding his sister Elsie at around five and a half months) but yet astonishingly here

BABY & MAMA UPDATE AT 12 MONTHS

OK, so first things first, I need to confess that I missed the last installment in this series. Ooops. I had all the best intentions to get it done, but as so many of you will know (!), having a baby to look after can often throw all kinds of spanners into the works and so all I can say is that I just didn’t manage to get around to

EVENTS / LATEST CYBEX FASHION COLLECTIONS

On a Thursday night, just over a week ago, I hotfooted it to a VIP evening held in my hometown of Barnsley, which to be honest hardly ever happens! I was there to admire the new fashion collections from one of the UK’s leading baby brands, Cybex. Held at the Direct2Mum flagship store, the evening was a real treat. Not only because I got a few very rare hours out

REVIEW / COSATTO 3SIXTI2 HIGHCHAIR

Babies and food. Toddlers and food. The thought alone is enough to make me wince just a little. Not because I don’t love ’em or because I don’t want to see them tuck in heartily and enjoy delicious food like the rest of us. But because of the mess! It never fails to astound me how much food can end up on the floor, the walls, on us and them

MY BABY HAS TURNED ONE!

One party, 41 balloons, two cakes and many presents opened. Last Sunday, my baby boy, turned one. It was a magical weekend. Emotional, yes, but one filled with love. We celebrated with our family on Saturday by throwing a little tea party. There were balloons and plenty of bubbles, pompom party hats and umpteen cups of tea drank. And I cried. Twice. In front of everyone. When we presented Leo

REVIEW / BATH TIME WITH CUDDLEDRY

Ah bath time. If there’s anything lovelier than a clean, sweet smelling baby wrapped in a towel, then quite frankly I’d be astonished. We love bath time in our house. Sure it’s a little chaotic at times, particularly now we have two little ones to get clean and dry, but it’s so much fun. Plus the kids love their baths! Someone once told me that if you’re having a bad

REVIEW / MY FAVOURITE BABY PRODUCTS OF 2017

Last year was the year I became a mum again for the second time, to my darling little Leo who is now a whopping 11 months old! (It’s true what everyone says, second time around and the baby days go quicker than the speed of light!) One of the great things about being a parenting and lifestyle blogger is that some very lovely brands send me some very lovely products
