DREAMING OF MY DREAM BATHROOM

OUR bathroom currently has an eighties vibe. It’s old fashioned, it’s pink (yes, really) and thankfully it’s at least functional. But besides the huge bath we have which is wonderful (the previous owner was a very tall man!) there’s not much else I can say to sing its praises, try as I might. Truth be told, it’s desperate to be redone. All of it. From scratch.

TALKING #BATHBOOKBED WITH ‘SUPERNANNY’ JO FROST

THERE’S not many people who can claim to be an expert when it comes to parenting or childcare. But on Tuesday, I met one woman who absolutely can. One woman who has helped parents across the world get to grips with more tricky parenting dilemmas than you can shake a stick at. The wonderful Jo Frost, AKA ‘Supernanny’. I was invited to an intimate event at ‘The Library’ (a gorgeous

HOW TO DEAL WITH THE ‘DARK SIDE’ OF BLOGGING

A FEW months ago, I considered quitting blogging. Wrapping my creative baby up and taking her away from the online world. It happens every so often. But folks, I think I may have actually found the answer thanks to the work of a Scandinavian company which has recently launched in

I ALWAYS feel like there is never enough time in the day. You know, to do what I want and need to do. And I bet right now, you are reading this and thinking: “me too, sista! me too!”

MY HOME IMPROVEMENT TIPS (& YOUR CHANCE TO WIN £3,000!)

I’VE never been one to make life easy. Which is why when I was heavily pregnant with Elsie, I – together with my husband – decided it would be a really good idea to buy a house that needed tons of work doing on it. A project home. Something we could both get our teeth into.

PRETTY, COLOURFUL THINGS FOR THE HOME

THE older I get, the more I find myself shunning neutrals in favour of colour. Particularly when it comes to my home. There’s just something about adding colour, which makes me happy, especially when it comes to accessories and the like.

DEAR KATE…HOW DO YOU STOP NEEDING PEOPLE TO LIKE YOU?

TODAY I’m back with another Agony Aunt column. I haven’t done one for a while (if you’re interested, you can catch up on the others here) so when this letter popped into my inbox, I knew straightaway that I needed to answer it quickly. Why? Because it’s something I have personally struggled with my entire life. Many thanks to the person who sent it in. I really hope it helps.
