MY name is Katie and I am a tea-aholic. No really, I totally am. When it comes to tea, I just can’t get enough. I drink umpteen cups of the stuff all day long. But whilst I do love a good cup of ‘normal’ tea (Yorkshire Tea is my always my preferred option for this) over the years I have started to cut back on Yorkshire’s finest and opt for
SO, after a little break I’m back with my blogging mojo well and truly restored! I love blogging so I’ve got to tell you it was a bit difficult not to feel guilty about my time away from you all but I have to say, it’s done me the world of good. Stepping away from the blog has given me back some precious time which has allowed me to chill
YOU may remember that a while ago I spoke about the importance of slowing down and looking after ourselves more. Well folks recently I’ve been forgetting my own advice (stupid I know) and because of that, a few months on, I now feel like my mojo has done a bunk. The good news is that all of this can easily be remedied with less work, less stress and a lot more rest
TODAY the husband and I are celebrating five years of marriage and boy has it gone quickly! It doesn’t seem two minutes since our wedding day and yet over the past five years our lives have changed so much. Are you ready? Ok here goes… I love my post pregnancy body. Yep, you heard right. I don’t hate it. I’m not disgusted or horrified by it. I’m not insecure about it. And I don’t just like it. I love
AT the grand ol’ age of 33, here’s what I’ve figured out about people so far when it comes to success. 1) People will often underestimate you… And that’s ok. Let them. For it is their mistake. Smile sweetly, safe in the knowledge that your brilliance will one day shock them to their core and rejoice in their surprise when it does. It isn’t what other people think that counts,
I HAD a little blogging break on Monday as we spent all weekend celebrating Elsie’s first birthday and what can I say, but I was absolutely shattered! Instead of being a busy blogger, I had a day off and spent my time tucking into lots of leftover birthday cake and playing with Elsie and her many new toys. I know you’ll forgive me. Elsie’s first birthday really was just so
